PTAA Announcements

Pittston Twp. Ambulance Association has a few announcements they would like to remind everyone about. First is that the 2020 membership drive is being finalized with the requested membership donation remaining at $35 per residential household. Having a membership permits the PTAA to waive any costs the patient’s insurance does not cover for both basic and advanced life support emergency medical services. A membership is active for a full calendar year and covers all persons residing in a common household, along with visiting guests. Memberships should be mailed to residents by Nov. 16.

Also, to anyone with the required credentials, the PTAA is seeking additional Emergency Medical Technicians. Any person who has these credentials and is interested is encouraged to call 570-655-4717 for information or apply online at www.ptaa:ems.com using the “volunteer/employment” link. For information, please call 570-654-4717.

PTAA is continuing its fundraiser through the AmazonSmile Foundation website, a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same selection of products as Amazon.com with a small percentage of your purchase price on eligible items going to a charitable organization of your choice, such as the PTAA.

To participate, go to Smile.Amazon.com, log in with your Amazon username and password, and in the search bar type in Pittston Twp. Ambulance Association. The name will appear and the year it started, 1977. Once you’ve selected it, the website will redirect you to Amazon.com, where you go about your normal shopping.
