The Linda Kohut Pittston Active Adult Center Crochet Class recently volunteered to complete a community project by making lap robes, shawls and ribbon crosses and donating them to the residents at Highland Manor and Rehabilitation Nursing Center. Staff at Highland Manor provided refreshments for the volunteers. Faye Kacsmar, class leader, and Juanita Herrick and Sharon McAdarra also helped crochet the items. Staff from Highland who assisted with the project included Marianne Sorbelli, Pam Sheeder, and Cheryl Scalzo.
